Suspected cases of cruelty should be reported to the nearest RSPCA(4939 1555 if in the Lower Hunter), or to the police.

Injured wildlife in the Lower Hunter should be reported to Wildlife Rescue Service on 0418 628 483.

Stray and abandoned animals should be notified to your local council.
